LPRD

I have had LPRD for three years.the cough has a terrible barking sound and a sort of rattleing. I cough up a lot of mucous and constantly spit it out all day, nightime is awful my sleep is interupted and I take paper towels to bed. I have not had a full nights sleep in more than a year. Ive had all the PPI's Nexium gave me Migraines[ I am a migraine sufferer any way so dont need that piled on me. now tkae Prilosec twice a day. and Carafate to protect my stomach. I also have a small Hiatal hernia. I was given Donnatal which is an anti spasmatic to stop the cough. You guessed right it didnt work so longer take it. This is ruing my life. Why cant something be done.I am not a candidate for surgery of any kind because of the henia. Please someone out there tell me what to try next.
