gerd I have suffered for too long with Gerd, I am going back next week to see a doctor in NY that is familiar with the polymer treatment. I feel that I can no longer take this continual belching, even when I sleep. I cannot eat anything, it backs up to discomford in and around rib cage and upper chest. I cannot take the purple pill because that too bother my stomach. I have one ulcer in esophagus, and scar tissue from 2 other. My doctors so far in Ct. are not concerned about this ongoing battle with this disorder. I feel if this continues, something worse might occur because of acid buildup. .
