Short of breath

One Sunday I got up to clean my house and cook my children a bit to eat. When I was in the process of cooking I went over to my kitchen table bent over to grab a bag of veggies and coughed really hard, I choked to the point that I had to grasp for air. There was this sharp pulling pain in my chest I thought I had a slit heart attack. I couldn't say anything to my children due to I could not catch my breath. This really scared me. So the next day at work I noticed I was very gassy to the point where I would belch and pain in the chest. So I decided to go to the emergency room and I was given an EKG to test my heart which thank GOD it came back fine. But neither the less I was diganoisted with Acid Reflux. This is not something any one would want due to pain in the chest, gaspering for air, belching, and bad gas. I'm now affraid to eat at times not knowing if this will set it off. DEE
