regurgitation during sleep
Many times I have regurgitated acid/bile and have choked on it to the point where I could not catch my breath. I cough and cough and am finally able to get some air into my lungs. This happens while I am asleep. I am afraid that one of these times it will happen and I won't be able to get any air. It is very scary and seems to be getting worse. Raising the head of the bed is not helping.
