Acid Reflux and bad breath
I have been diagnosed with Larygeal reflux after going from doctor to doctor over the past year, my main complaint has been a very bad odor from my throat. I mean really bad, people avoid talking to me and being in a room with me its that bad. At first my doctors thought it was post-nasal drip yet my current doctor asked me additional questions that the others missed.
Questions abount heartburn, pain in my ears, pain in my chest, nausea, and the feeling of a lump in my throat ( I constantly clear my throat trying to cough up what ever is in there). Well the answer was yes to all the questions and finally I had a real answer to why my life had been miserable over the past year. I've been placed on Nexium (8 days and counting) and so far not much has changed. I still have this horrible smell and I still have major heartburn and gas, I am unsure what to do next. It's hard to carry on daily life with this horrible smell, it makes physical interaction unbearable, the heartburn is horrible as well, it seems that way no matter what I eat. If anyone has any advice or could share a similar situation I'd appreciate it.
