NON-STOP THROAT CLEARING
I was wondering if someone has any insight or comments.
About 1 1/2 years ago I woke up coughing and gasping. This went on for about two hours. The next day I began to have terrible throat clearing. It always felt as if there were mucous in my throat, but I never coughes any up. I also noticed the symptoms would get worse after eating.
I have pursued ENT doctors, gastroenterologists. I have had the ph bravo, the 24 hour double ph probe. Everything came back negative. ANd I still continue to clear my throat continuosuly and without stop. I have been on and off medication over the past year and a half and also have taken things like tagament, zantac, etc. My ENT has me on 40 mg of aciphex twice a day for the past month, but no results. I am going to visit the surgeon in another two weeks to see about having the nissen done, but with all my test results being negative, I am not sure what he can do.
My quality of life has suffered greatly, nit to mention a constant stae of depression.
Has anyone gone through the same thing. If so, let me know what you did and any results that you had.
