regurgitation and gasping for air experience
I read a person's comments about gasping for air out of a deep sleep and that it was "scarey".. Last night I had this experience and I jumped out of my bed as my lungs seemed to be unable to get the normal amount of air into them to allow for life to go on lol. I say 'lol' but I have to tell you that I thought I was having a heart attack but then I suddenly realized that I had bile in my mouth and that sensation when liquid goes down the wrong pipe. Here's my input and I hope it helps people.. my mistake last night before this godaweful experience shocked my world was that I ate way too much before trying to nod off... I had a peanut butter sandwich, an hour later I had some tea and toast, followed by some frosted wheats with diet milk, and if that wasn't bad enough yet.. for some reason I ate two rice krispy treats in bed before sleep. What am I crazy.
I notice that, and I've had this experience several times already, but just not as bad as last night.. but I notice that if I do not eat for a few hours before going to sleep I DO NOT HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE. Also, I find that milk in the belly during sleep is asking for trouble in a middle aged person. I know I have to get my act together and I will and am.
Thanks and God Bless Us All who go through this.
