side effects

I am 34 i have just started treatment for acid reflux,im taking omeprazole.this works for me at the moment,but it has so many side effects.Can anyone tell me if they are taking these and if you are how are you getting on.I really would like to stick with them,have been taking them for 3 weeks. HELP.
